I am having hard time installing libusb. How to install libusb? How to setup libusb with Qt on Mac Os X?
It's up and running! Not sure if the libusb-win32 drivers are necessary, but I installed those and made sure to install a couple of individual.dll files in the directories listed in the instructions that comes with the drivers themselves. This tool is what made it work. Just follow the instructions in the link and it works. Full pressure sensitivity just like on an actual ps3 or ps2.
If you want the full controller functionality which relies on pressure sensitivity in the MGS games for PS2 this is the way to go. Multiate a doll 2 updated.

The DualShock 3 is not a standard HID controller. Something needs to initialize it before it can be read. There are a number of utilities that can do it. Recent versions of LilyPad (You're not using one) can, if you install libusb and set DS3 native mode. I strongly recommend against that approach if you're using a 64-bit OS and don't really know what you're doing (No offense, but I'd put you in this category). Can also google some other 3rd party tools that do it. Note that rumble also will probably not work, unless you go the libusb route.
