Common errors encountered when using OpenLDAP. Provided does not match the userPassword held in. The files must be owned by the user that slapd.

For this procedure, you can import (open) a Microsoft® Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 R2 server configuration from file. A server configuration also includes all management agents that exist when an export server configuration file is created. This can be helpful when you want to import or recover a known-good server configuration and is the preferred method when migrating a server configuration. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the FIMSyncAdmins security group. Caution - Do not run Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) scripts when importing a server configuration. Failure to do so might cause a management agent run to fail or corrupt a management agent configuration.

On the File menu, click Import Server Configuration. In Browse for folder, click the location of the file to be imported. For each directory-based management agent, Management Agent Designer checks the connected data source schema and creates a list of existing partitions. Management Agent Designer then attempts to match those existing partitions with partitions specified in the management agent configuration file. If partition matches can be guaranteed with matching globally unique identifiers (GUIDs) and matching names, no action is necessary. If partition matches cannot be guaranteed, the Partition Matching dialog box appears for more information:.

By default, if partitions are detected in the management agent configuration file, and those partitions have a matching GUID with an existing partition, they are not displayed. To display partitions with an exact match, click Show exact partition matches.

Exact partition matches detected by Management Agent Designer are shown for reference only. No additional action for exact matches is necessary. If partitions are detected in the management agent configuration file and those partitions do not have a matching GUID with an existing partition, but do have a matching name, they are proposed as a match. Deselect the unwanted partitions, and then click OK.

If partitions are detected in the management agent configuration file, and those partitions do not have a matching GUID or a matching name with an existing partition, you must match them manually. To match them manually, click the partition in File Partition, click an existing partition in Existing Partition, and then click Match. Deselected partitions are not available for processing in a run profile. To deselect an existing partition, click the partition in Existing Partition, and then click Deselect. To remove a proposed match, manually matched, or deselected partition in Matched Partitions, click the partition, and then click Remove.

First, real basic question. I've been dwelling in the world of orch's, SQL, and WCF so long, that going back to simple files is a bit rusty. Can a receive pipeline both do a flat-file and debatch at the same time? It seems like I've done it in the past, but really don't remember. I used FlatFile Wizard to create a schema for a delimited file. I tested it through Rcv/Send to disk, and it works fine converting FlatFile to XML.

I then created a second schema that represents just one row of that file. In the schema created by the Wizard I made changes: 1) On Schema node, set Envelope=Yes 2) On Root node, set BodyXpath to the root node (one above the repeating row) 3) On the node representing the repeating row, set Max Occurs = 1 I created a Receive Pipeline with the FlatFile Disassembler, setting Document Schema to the Wizard created schema, just modified. Created a RcvPort/Location tied to pipeline, and a subscribing SendPort. Dropped file, and get this suspend/error: There was a failure executing the receive pipeline. Source: 'Flat file disassembler' Receive Port: 'ReceiveDLFTZ' URI: 'd: FileDrop Delta ReceiveFTZFile.'

Reason: Document type 'does not match any of the given schemas. When I look at the schemas deployed, I have a schema with namespace: and two schemas in that namespace 1) DeltaFTZ and 2) DeltaFTZRow The goal for my first test is just to write out one XML file per ROW in the delimited file to the SendPort directory. Later I will call SQL stored proc for each row. I want to use content-based routing, no orchestration.

I looked at SDK Samples Pipelines AssemblerDisassembler EnvelopeProcessing, but it looks like they are doing the debatch in the SendPort. I can do that, but then the question is whether I need to make a third schema?

The FlatFile wizard might need MaxOccurs set to 'unbounded', and the debatch schema would need the Envelope, BodyPart, and MaxOccurs set to 1. Thanks, Neal Walters. Depending on your flat file, you can create a body schema that has one record in it, when the flat file is process if there are more than one record for the body it will create a message for each record.

Here were my corrections: 1) Do not mark the flat file schema as an envelope schema(and thus no BodyXpath either) based on what Bill said 2) Set 'Group Max Occurs' to 1 on the root node of the flat file schema.based on Rahul's sample/blog 3) I had previous experimented with several variations of the map, but for this to work, I made sure the map was now set properly. I actually put it on the Receive Port, and it worked. Rahul's blog demonstrates it on the SendPort.

Now, one more question. This is a typical CSV style file. How do I throw away the first row that contains the column headings?

I'm getting an XML file debatched that has the headers in it. Do I have to build a header schema?

I read up on 'Preserve Header' and I don't think that it is applicable. Neal Walters http://NealWalters.com. Yes, simply create a header schema that has a record (defining all the column headers) and make sure it doesn't repeat (min/max = 1). Specify that as your header schema. Set the Preserve Header to false. If you are not serializing to a flat file in your send pipeline, the preserve header setting won't matter, however the parsed Header XML will flow in the message context if the preserve header is set to true. I did a copy/paste of the entire schema, change name, and namespace, set 'Header Schema' to it in RcvPipeline, 'PreserveHeader' = false, and it worked. I then thought, let's be clever, why use an extra schema, so I tried setting the 'Header Schema' to the same as 'Document Schema', but VS-build gives error: The envelope header and trailer schemas can not match the document schema. Again, seems like a useless limitation. With CSV files, the header is always the same as the document section, i.e.

Same number of fields and commas. The flat file parser is entirely grammar driven. Each disassemble takes the input stream (whereever the stream is positioned) and runs it through the parser until the parse table indicates completion. Independent parses of header, document and trailer must be unique to allow a succuessful transition from one to the next.
