Thanks, interesting game! If you follow the instructions in the.txt file it should work. If, when you copy the cracked.exe into the game folder, you get an error message like 'can't copy because this file is already open in another folder/program' then try to copy it without replacing the original file, the un-cracked one in the game folder, and it should do the trick (at least for me it did). Then you will see the file 'start' and the file 'start (2)' in the game folder.
Delete the 'start', as it's the un-cracked one, and rename 'start (2)' as 'start'. You should be able to play now:).
